Excellent heat conduction properties

Heat sinks are commonly used in electronics because many electronic components, such as processors, transistors and integrated circuits, generate significant amounts of heat in a very small area. Heat dissipation is crucial to ensure the reliability and longevity of electronic devices as overheating of equipment can lead to reduced performance and, in extreme cases, damage. The presented heatsink is made of copper with aluminium elements. A thermally conductive paste has been applied to the heatsink surface, which significantly improves heat conduction between the heatsink surface and the electronic component. It fills in microscopic irregularities on the contact surfaces, which minimises thermal resistance and maximises heat dissipation efficiency.
